In - medium properties of D - mesons at FAIR

چکیده
We obtain the D-meson spectral density at finite temperature for the conditions of density and temperature expected at FAIR. We perform a self-consistent coupled-channel calculation taking, as a bare interaction, a separable potential model. The Λc (2593) resonance is generated dynamically. We observe that the D-meson spectral density develops a sizeable width while the quasiparticle peak stays close to the free position. The consequences for the D-meson production at FAIR are discussed.

Elliptic flow and nuclear modification factors of D-mesons at FAIR in a Hybrid-Langevin approach
The Compressed Baryonic Matter (CBM) experiment at the Facility for Anti-proton and Ion Research (FAIR) will provide new possibilities for charm-quark (D-meson) observables in heavy-ion collisions at low collision energies and high baryon densities. To predict the collective flow and nuclear modification factors of charm quarks in this environment, we apply a Langevin approach for the transport...

We study the properties of strange and charm mesons in hot and dense matter within a selfconsistent coupled-channel approach for the experimental conditions of density and temperature expected for the CBM experiment at FAIR/GSI. The in-medium solution at finite temperature accounts for Pauli blocking effects, mean-field binding on all the baryons involved, and meson self-energies. In the strang...

We have calculated the D-meson spectral density at finite temperature within a self-consistent coupled-channel approach that generates dynamically the Λ c (2593) resonance. We find a small mass shift for the D-meson in this hot and dense medium while the spectral density develops a sizeable width. The reduced attraction felt by the D-meson in hot and dense matter together with the large width o...

A self-consistent coupled-channel approach is used to study the properties of D and D̄ mesons in hot dense matter. The starting point is a broken SU(4) s-wave Tomozawa-Weinberg DN (D̄N) interaction supplemented by an attractive isoscalar-scalar term. The Pauli blocking effects, baryon mean-field bindings, and π and open-charm meson self-energies are incorporated in dense matter at finite temperat...
متن کاملEffects of final state interaction in B^+_c to D^0 K^+ decay
In this paper, the decay of Bc+ meson, which consists of two b and c heavy quarks, into the Do and K+ mesons was studied. Given that the experimental branching ratio for this decay was within the range of 3.75*10-5 to 11.16*10-5; it was decided to calculate the theoretical branching ratio by applying the final state interaction (FSI) through the T and cross-section channels. In this process, b...
